Hi my name is Caiti I have been learning about time this week .My personal Project was about the first woman Doctor who was Elizabeth Garret Anderson.I found out a lot about her and I made a booklet about her.

My project.

My project was about Audrey Hepburn, her life and career. It was hard to do because I had no books about her so I had to use the computer the whole time. It was fun though because I found out alot of interesting things about her and while I was doing it, I found out that it also linked to one of the other projects that someone else was doing.

For my time project I am doing World War 2 I am doing it in the form of the diary of a girl who is evacuated to the country.!!!!!

We got costumes from Shambellie House In Dumfries.

We had a busy TIME on Wednesday!

We had a school challenge with 3 pupil teams and 1 parent team.We had to make a water clock with paper cups we could ask for 1 extra piece of equipment.
It was great fun .
All our clocks looked the same- but some of us measured the water more carefully than others.Some of us made the hole the wrong size, one team didn't seal the cups properly.
One team managed to make aclock that timed a minute.

My topic is about the Titanic .I learnt about the Captian E.J.Smith which stands for Edward John Smith.I'm making it look like a news paper article.

What we know about TIME.....

Sophie-I can hold my breath for 34 seconds.
Caiti-I can walk the Doune Glen in 4 hours.
Jamie-I know when the dinosaurs lived.
Thomas-It is three'o'clock when we go home.
Alex-It takes 40 minutes to bake a sponge.
Ruadhan-I know how long it takes to dance a reel.
Isla-You can tell the time by the Sun.

Today we used Roman numerals and calendars and a big clock on our interactive board.

Tomorrow we are going to travel back in time to find out about a person that we would like to meet.
